Despite the fact staying home is the right thing to do in order to decrease the spread of coronavirus, cars necessarily used in several cases. So it is important to disinfect the car, as coronavirus can stay active on many surfaces for days. Let’s check some tips to maintain Coronavirus out of your car
The Centers for Disease Control provide recommendations on how to fight coronavirus. The first thing to keep in mind is that we breathe and cough inside the car, and we can also have coronavirus attached to our hands. Therefore, carpets, door handles, seats, the wheel, the belts, the radio, the gear lever, and the dash must be duly disinfected.
It is not, of course, recommendable to damage your car´s surfaces with chlorine bleach. Your car is not made with the same materials a bathroom or a house in general is. But products with an alcohol base can do for your car. You must clean first and disinfect after. Soap and water can be used on non-electronic parts, as soap deactivates the coronavirus by removing its exterior fatty layer, and the alcohol-based products can be used for electronic devices. You can use a microfiber cloth for cleaning and then use wipes for the disinfection, not forgetting the holes of ducts and buckles.
Remember: Coronavirus must be taken seriously and not only health but lives are at stake. The priority right now is, we repeat, staying home!
